The Skipper Alan Robertson
The Skipper of Overdraft II learned to sail in the Irish and North Seas, in the northeast of England and southeast and southwest of Scotland and Holland, where the sailing is demanding, and where he obtained his Ocean Yacht Master's Certificate.
Sailing for over twenty years, Alan fitted out Overdraft II to provide a comfortable, live-aboard boat. Once chief electrical engineer for a major shipping company, he has all the necessary expertise in the mechanical and electrical systems of yachts to ensure a smooth journey, free of technical problems.
Skipper Alan has resided on Corfu for the past 15 years, and he is well acquainted with the Ionian region, its bays, harbours and anchorages, as well as the best tavernas, beaches, and shops in each village. A true veteran of Ionian sailing adventures, Alan (aka 'Redbeard') spins a good sailing yarn as well.
